Who handles backflow in Orcutt
Golden State Water serves Orcutt and runs its own cross-connection program. Test reports are emailed directly to Golden State Water, on its pre-filled annual form or its blank test form. Golden State Water makes it the customer's responsibility to get the report in, and it doesn't keep or recommend a tester list. How we handle your test
We test each assembly with a calibrated differential gauge: both checks, and on an RP the relief valve. Most single devices take about 30 minutes. For a business, we test before you open or after you close, so the water's never off during your hours. We carry repair kits for the common Watts, Febco, Wilkins and Zurn assemblies, so most failures get repaired and retested in the same visit. You get a copy of the report, and we file the certified copy with Golden State Water. A passing test that never reaches the district counts as no test.
