Hydro Jetting: Central Coast

Hydro jetting scours the inside of a drain or sewer line with high-pressure water. A drain cable punches a hole through a clog. Jetting cleans the full width of the pipe, washing out grease, scale, sludge and fine roots, so the line flows like it should instead of clogging again next month.

What We Do Here

When jetting is the right call

  • Restaurant and commercial kitchen lines packed with grease
  • Main lines that keep backing up after cabling
  • Root intrusion in sewer laterals (after cutting the roots)
  • Scale buildup in older cast-iron drains
  • Preventive cleaning for apartment buildings, HOAs and restaurants

When it isn't

Jetting isn't safe for every pipe. Broken, offset or badly deteriorated lines can get worse under pressure. That's why we run a camera first. If the pipe is damaged, we show you the video and talk through repair instead.

For restaurants and commercial kitchens

Grease is the most common reason a kitchen drain backs up in the middle of service. Scheduled jetting keeps lines open. We set a cleaning interval based on what the camera shows, and we work before opening or after close.

FAQ

Common questions

+ Is hydro jetting better than snaking?

For grease, scale and recurring clogs, yes. It cleans the whole pipe wall instead of poking one hole through the clog.

+ Can jetting damage my pipes?

Not pipe that's in good shape. We camera the line first to make sure it can take it.

+ How often should a restaurant jet its lines?

It depends on volume and what you cook. We set the interval after looking at the line on camera.

What Our Customers Say

I highly recommend Modern Perspective Plumbing! I called, and they were able to send someone to my house in a very short amount of time. Ed was friendly, personable, and easy to work with. He explained everything clearly, did great work, and the pricing was fair. It's so refreshing to find a company that provides excellent customer service and quality work. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again or recommend them to others.

Eddie was able to squeeze me into his schedule fast to help me with a bathroom remodel that I had already started demo on before I called him. When he showed up, he saw my old type M copper coming up from under the slab and advised me to replace that before it failed like half of my neighbors. He re-piped the house and the new bathroom within a couple days. Very clean and professional, highly recommend Eddie and Modern Perspective.

The team at Modern Perspective Plumbing are top of the line. Excellent quality work and even better human beings. Our old water heater was leaking and needed to be replaced. MPP visited same day to check out the situation. Eddie replaced it the very next morning after I finished water damage remediation. They've earned our future business and recommendation. Give 'em a call; they'll take care of you.
