Common questions
+ I smell gas — what should I do?
Leave the house, don't flip switches, and call SoCalGas or PG&E from outside to shut the meter. Then call us at (805) 788-8444 to repair the line once the utility has made it safe.
+ Do I need a permit for a new gas line?
Yes — any new gas line or appliance hookup requires a permit and pressure test. We handle the permit and inspection.
+ Can you run a gas line to my BBQ or fire pit?
Yes — outdoor kitchen stubs are one of our most common gas jobs. We run the line, install the shutoff, pressure test, and pull the permit.
+ How do you test for leaks?
We pressurize the line with air or nitrogen to test pressure and hold it for the duration required by code. Any pressure drop indicates a leak that we then locate and repair.
